“You,” “Your,” or “Customer” refers to the client availing pool repair services.
“Pool products” refer to any equipment, accessories, or parts related to swimming pools.
Pool Repair Services
UK Pools and Spas will provide professional pool repair services using qualified technicians to the best of our abilities.
We strive to complete the repair work promptly, but timelines may vary depending on the complexity of the repair.
Manufacturer’s Warranty on Parts
For all pool repair services that involve the replacement of parts, we will use genuine parts or components recommended by the pool equipment manufacturer.
The replaced parts may come with a manufacturer’s warranty, which will be passed on to you. The terms and duration of the warranty will be specified in the product documentation or packaging.
Service Fees and Payments
Service fees will be discussed and agreed upon before commencing any repair work.
The cost of replacement parts and materials will be included in the total service fee, and a breakdown will be provided upon request.
Payment for the pool repair services is due within 30 days of completion of the work, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Any late payment will be charged inline with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
Until full payment is received, all repaired property shall remain the property of UK Pools and Spas.
Customer Responsibilities
It is your responsibility to provide accurate information about the pool repair requirements and any known issues related to the pool equipment must be disclosed.
You must ensure that there is proper access to the pool area and equipment for our technicians to perform the necessary repairs.
You shall provide uninterrupted access to the pool area and ensure clean, dry storage space for our tools and materials during the repair period.
It is believed that all isolation and utility supplies required for the repair are in good working order. In the event that these supplies are found to be faulty or not in good working condition, resulting in additional costs for UK Pools and Spas, such additional costs will be borne by you.
Delays and Charges
Any delay caused by other contractors or external factors not within the control of UK Pools and Spas may result in additional charges.
Additional charges for delays will be based on a day rate per technician present at the repair site.
Limitation of Liability
While UK Pools and Spas will make every effort to ensure high-quality repair work, we shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or injury arising from the use of our services or pool products.
Warranty Claims
If you believe that a repaired part is defective or fails within the manufacturer’s warranty period, please inform us immediately.
We will assist you in the warranty claim process and coordinate with the manufacturer on your behalf.
Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute or disagreement, we will work with you to reach a fair and amicable resolution.
If necessary, disputes will be subject to the laws of England and Wales and resolved in the courts of the same jurisdiction.
